For this collaboration we chose matte organdy, a cloth with a structure of its own. It does not drape — it holds. A shoulder line that stands slightly away from you. A sleeve that keeps its shape through a long, warm afternoon. Sheer enough to see the light come through, matte enough that no flash ever finds it. It moves with a sound so quiet you feel it before you hear it.

Every Filipiniana bolero here is embroidered in Manila by the artisans we work beside. On cloth this sheer the thread shows its whole path — there is nowhere for a careless stitch to hide.
