The Nora is an open-front bolero, and its embroidery does the work a seam usually does: one continuous border running the front edges and the hem, drawing the shape of the garment from the inside out. On Deep Indigo the champagne carries the whole composition — the ground absorbs, the border sits forward.
Matte organdy holds the gathered shoulder without adding weight, so the volume stays exactly where it is put. Embroidered in Manila by the artisans we work beside, and on cloth this sheer the border reads from both sides.
