The Vivian trades softness for line. Fern fronds unfurl across each front in black, fine and feathered, every leaf drawn in a single line of stitching. Around them runs a frame: a black rule, then a border of small teardrop eyelets set in a fine scroll, edging the fronts, the hem and the cuff of each sleeve.
The organza is semi-sheer, so the ivory reads as a veil and the black work sits forward of it, crisp from across a room. It holds the terno sleeves high, pleated at the shoulder, where the ferns repeat in a mirrored pair.
The cut is cropped and square, open at the front. At the back, the ferns gather low along the hem, with a few single leaves scattered above them, as if they had drifted there.
Over a simple pale skirt, as here, it is a piece for the day. Over black, it becomes one for the evening. Available in UK 6 to UK 22.
