The Jaira is cut close through the body and opens at the shoulder into a full, gathered sleeve that falls to the elbow. Organza gives it lift without weight. It is crisp enough to hold the shoulder, and light enough that the sleeve still moves with you. In the light, the cloth carries a soft sheen that shifts from lilac toward pink as you turn.
The embroidery is tonal, lavender on lavender. Small flowers climb the sleeves, fine vines open across the bodice, and latticed panels near the hem read like lace set into the cloth. Beads are scattered through the motif. The square neckline is edged in a beaded band, the first thing to catch the light.
Every edge is scalloped, the sleeves and the hem alike, so the blouse finishes the way its embroidery does: in a soft, repeating curve.
