Its fronts meet at the neck and fall open in two clean panels, the corners softened just enough to keep the square from turning severe. It is lined, so it slips on easily over a camisole or a fitted top and the panels lie flat.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe terno sleeves rise from the shoulder in soft pleats and then stand on their own, squaring the shoulder line and framing the face. Peau de soie is what holds them there: a dense, smooth cloth with a low glow, closer to pearl than to satin.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDown each front runs a single vine, embroidered in sky blue, blush pink and white, with green leaves and curling tendrils between the blooms. The two sides answer each other, so the open center between them becomes part of the design.
